Altstadthotel Eibsen
Four Generations of History
During the time Wilhelm Eibsen founded his hotel in 1883, horse-drawn transport was still the fashion and Otterndorf was a quaint little town. Our Hotel was one of the first buildings situated at the easterly gateway.
Four generations have now run the family business, and meanwhile the town has grown and our building is now at the entrance to the historical part of the still charming town of Otterndorf, whose greenery invites you to stroll along the former ramparts or visit the quaint old streets of our town. And of course the buildings of historical interest, such as the Kranichhaus museum, the church or the home of the renowned writer Johann Heinrich Voss.
The appreciation for tradition and history, mingled with continuous development and modernization can be experienced firsthand. And as you probably won’t be coming to visit us in a carriage, we won’t have any juicy hay for you, but free parking on site is guaranteed.
